I love retelling (except for Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and King Arthur) so give me fresh new spins. Bonus points if they are not the same ones we always see. #MSWL (psst: you can also use them as a spring board like how ACOTAR was a Beauty and the Beast one)

I love a goo contemporary romance, ala ANNA IN THE FRENCH KISS or MEGAN MEADE'S GUIDE. Give me the feels and make me fall in love. Elevate the everyday so it is not my everyday. #MSWL

I love @MindyMcGinnis THIS DARKNESS MINE and FEMALE OF THE SPECIES so I want something in that dark twisty vein. #MSWL

Give me an unreliable narrator or an unlikable heroine, but make me care. #MSWL

I want a middle grade humor book. My favorite is THE MORTIFICATION OF FOVEA MUNSON. Give me something quirky and offbeat, but still kid friendly. #MSWL

I want a literary book that is not contemporary. Give me a literary fantasy, magical realism, historical fiction. #MSWL

I want a witch book. I enjoyed THE GRACES and CHARMED. I want it a bit darker and more about the craft (less Sabrina from the 90s). #MSWL

I want a historical that feels historical: from the writing, to the voice. My favorite authors are J. Anderson Coats, Ruta Sepetys, Ann Rinaldi. Recent favorite books: Wolf Hollow. #MSWL

I want a lush fantasy that is character driven. I want writing that sweeps me away with its beauty but keeps me enthralled in the plot. #MSWL
