Anne Tibbets ::CLOSED TO QUERIES:: @AnneTibbetsExtra points if she's the real playwright and she's just using her husband's name. twitter.com/sebastian_lk/s…
Ummmm wouldn't it be wonderful if someone wrote this historical? Doesn't even have to be Shakespeare, just a famous playwright whose wife is actually behind it all 😍 #MSWL
Fangirl Jeanne @fangirlJeanneThe Indiana Jones reboot we deserve. Also he should be stealing cultural artifacts and returning them to their original countries/people. pic.twitter.com/Pl0ZzHPYNu
Brandon @blgtylrMe: I don't understand how people write historical novels. How do you even get an idea for one.
Me, on a random Tuesday morning: Lol, wouldn't it be cool to write a novel about the last castrato singer and what it must be like to realize you're a relic of a vanishing time.
Shannon/S.A. Chakraborty @SAChakrabooksPlease....if a POC #ownvoices author even writes a Mission Impossible-esqe heist novel involving people breaking into the British Museum to recover their stolen treasure, I will help you write a query letter and blurb your book and push it into people's hands.
Yes, yes, heists are AMAZING. But what about a thief who steals from the ACTUAL thieves and then sneaks into the museums or homes or whatever to return the items, but doesn't want notoriety? Then is caught and must help police to clear her own name. Maaaaybe? #MSWL
Natascha Morris @SoCalledYALifeOOORRRRR a genderbent COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO about a woman who was set up to take the fall for a male and is now coming to get hers? #MSWL twitter.com/kaitylynne13/s…
100xs this as well! #MSWL
Oo! And what about a YA (Or adult, really) where it's f/f and they're forced to work on a painting together to win scholarship money or startup money. But they hate each other and then end up having a paint fight 😍 enemies to lovers! #MSWL
Anyone thought of a Count of Monte Cristo retelling, but from the woman he left behind's perspective? And she's the badass getting into sword fights and proving his innocence? #MSWL
Also really craving a beautiful Historical Fantasy with worldbuilding as solid as Carnival Row (but without Fae). Gotta have that captivating voice and I'd love to see some court intrigue thrown in there #MSWL
Disclaimer: I'm not a great fit for Fae/Fairie, Elves, or Werewolves. Just not my cup of tea (probably odd ogres or trolls in there, too). #MSWL
And again, I'm calling for mermaids! Creepy, creature mermaids and sirens. Darkness. I'm not talking Disney here. I wanna see the grit and the turmoil from the beings sailors once feared #MSWL
Still looking for an Adult contemporary with a therapy group for those who fake being kidnapped by aliens... only to have one member disappear and spark conspiracies 😉 if y'all don't write it, I might have to myself #MSWL
Can I please have modern witches? I mean, witches who are living their lives, drinking tea, wearing certain gemstones for certain qualities, hanging herbs in the kitchen, concocting healing spells and ones that help you not fall asleep in exams. Modernize! #MSWL
I want Urban Fantasy with myths and legends based far out of the usual commercial scope. Give me South American creatures, the Philippines, Eastern Island, New Zealand. What's the boogeyman there? I want to know! #MSWL
I'm open to vampires! You've just got to give me something different, unique, with a wonderful plot or setting. Still thinking there's so much we can do with New Orleans POC vamps or vamps in island regions.
Also would love vamps with the humor of What We Do In The Shadows #MSWL
Still dying to find a Lost Boy book about one of them after they escape Neverland and are forced to live in London.
Also still dying to find casts like FireFly or Buffy with banter and sass and adventures. #MSWL
For adult, I'd love a contemporary romance with humor. Maybe not full out Bridget Jones, but something that takes realistic elements and makes us giggle at them. #MSWL
