I’ve been in such a Mood for two very different kinds of books:
(1) Southern fiction a la Kristy Woodson Harvey, with warmth, setting as character, female friendships and/or multigenerational families, and secrets/hardships that come to light. Can be A or YA!
I love laughter, warmth, introverts, character-driven narratives, perseverance, being transported to different places and times, gorgeous and grounded world-building, heart, friendship, and family.
Here’s what I’m seeking this year! #mswl scribblesandwanderlust.com/2019/01/01/msw…
I'm seeking more contemporary and historical lately––with accessible voices, character-driven plot, heart, humor, family/friendship/sibling relationships at the center. #mswl scribblesandwanderlust.wordpress.com/2018/01/01/msw…
Laura Crockett ☕️ @LECrockettGovernment conspiracies, political & legal thrillers = NOT for me.
Female friendships, supportive families, moral dilemmas/topics = GIMME!
I'm all about discussable book club women's fiction and YA. Especially when the books deal with positive/hopeful female relationships. #mswl
