#mswl A or YA. Music has such healing powers, brings people together. I’ve always wondered about musical neighbors sharing walls (wouldn’t it be neat if...?) & finally meeting (a meet cute, a healing remedy like these two) or never meeting @ all but finding peace w one another...
I’ve always been open about my #mswl & deal announcements. I’m proud of my clients, & I hope to find more great writers who trust me to champion their work! 💙 #pitchwars

Priyanka Krishnan @mspriyankaI don't know whether it's the season, or just 2020 in general, but I am craving a warm and wise and magical witchy story right now, brimming with sisterhood and secrets (historical or contemporary). Bonus points if it has a compelling romance! #MSWL
(2) Gilded Age/1865-1965 histfic a la AMERICAN DUCHESS, THAT CHURCHILL WOMAN, & Downton Abbey, with “dollar princesses” & other marriages ft. wealthy, influential American women in European nobility/royal/peerage society. (MC can be the heiress or close confidant.) A or YA.
I’ve been in such a Mood for two very different kinds of books:
(1) Southern fiction a la Kristy Woodson Harvey, with warmth, setting as character, female friendships and/or multigenerational families, and secrets/hardships that come to light. Can be A or YA!
Brody Smith @BrodyMSmithEvery year Ashley reminds me that I broke up with her on Thanksgiving in 7th grade. It’s my favorite tradition. pic.twitter.com/VFpfDDiVB3
Romcom #mswl please thanks
Laura Crockett @LECrockettI loved THE BIRD & THE BLADE, now I’m reading Elizabeth Bear (RANGE OF GHOSTS) for the first time—and I think what I’m loving most about these fantasies: Khan. Great Khan, Genghis Khan, Mongol Empire, Song Dynasty, Silk Road, history across the steppes & China—I want it. #mswl
If you have a historical, fantasy, or historical fantasy manuscript in adult or YA that fits this era and/or setting, or is inspired by this era and/or setting, please send to me! I want more non-Euro stories like this. #mswl

LRT(s): I adore romcoms! Recently flailed over THE FLATSHARE (5⭐️) and I’m so pumped to start THE FRIEND ZONE and AYESHA AT LAST. Got a romcom like those? Check out my #mswl (scribblesandwanderlust.com/2019/01/01/msw…) and #MSWLaesthetic for more!
dσxxεd Ъuт หσт σuт @twmentality1This all-black WW II women's battalion, the 6888th, were deployed by Roosevelt to make sure American soldiers received the huge backlog of mail being sent to them.
When they were denied firearms, they trained in jujitsu, to keep intruders out of their compound.
Met @kristywharvey today at my library and she signed all three of my books! Agents can be fangirls too 😉
Y’all, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love contemporary women’s fiction. If you can write sisters like Kristy, send it my way! #mswl
Historical is hard in YA and Adult but ohhhh, I love it so. Tell me a great story of under-studied women, events, and areas of history. Give me spies and queens, codebreakers and slice of life, THE ALICE NETWORK and OUTRUN THE MOON. #mswl
I’m focusing a lot in Adult as well—women’s fiction, fantasy, and historical. With WF I want to see upmarket book club fiction (ELEANOR OLIPHANT) and romcoms (MEET CUTE). I want lyrical, historically-inspired fantasy (EMPIRE OF SAND, Juliet Marillier, anything witches). #mswl
