#MSWL Here, diverse can mean anything from ethnicity and culture to religion to sexual orientation to (dis)abilities to mental health.

#MSWL I'm not into "issue" books in YA as they're often preachy or melodramatic. But if I connect deeply & emotionally w/protagonist—SOLD

#MSWL I tend to like weird things. What I mean is things that don't easily fit into one category or box, innovative ways of telling stories.

#MSWL I reallyreallyreally want YA focused on family relationships between sisters, mom. Need something while I'm waiting for Gilmore Girls.

#MSWL Gothic horror. Or as some are now calling it, dreadpunk. Southern gothic. Small towns with big secrets and possibly a ghost or two.
