I love friendship stories, mother/child, complicated relationships and partnerships, In all of this I want more marginalized authors. There are just too many voices and stories not being heard and told. #MSWL

I have a passion for the outdoors and wilderness and wilderness survival stories especially set in remote places--Alaska, the desert, deep in the mountains. #MSWL

I want to be introduced to new worlds and want more books set outside the US. I'm from MN and always want more books set there. Food is a big thing for me. Give me rich, detailed & mouth-watering descriptions of food #MSWL

But I also love light. I'm not taking on many new cozy authors these days unless you've elevated the cozy like The Maid. Another with a strong sense of family and more complicated and layered story then typical cozies #MSWL

I like dark and twisty but not gory. Suspense with a real edge. I tend not to lean to horror, but love dark characters with dark secrets. Like Razorblade Tears or Black Cake. Family secrets coming to light are a big hit for me. #MSWL

My areas of expertise are upmarket and literary fiction, women's fiction, mystery, suspense and thriller. I love books w/ strong family focus (found, friends, those you're born with) and home. Even in mystery I love those connections #MSWL

I need authors with big platforms and a built-in audience. Mostly though, authors who want to change the world and use their book as another avenue by which to do that.

Some of the most powerful books I've read are Atomic Habits, We Should All Be Millionaires, Dare to Lead, Start with Why, The Coaching Habit, Set Boundaries, Find Peace -- I want fresh perspectives on these types of books.

Specifically I'm looking for more books by women and People of Color. I want to change the business space to represent all voices, not just the white male (most published).
