In middle grade, I’m always hungry for action, adventure, magic, and humor. It can be fantasy or contemporary, or a little bit of both. Give me your fresh takes on magical school settings or just fun friendship stories filled with hijinks. #MSWL

Often times parents have to move for work or family dynamics change in a way that requires them to be uprooted from familiar places. So I think it’d be great to see more coming-of-age MG stories about transient children, especially ones with diaspora backgrounds. #MSWL

When are we getting a Big Hero 6 sequel? Also, I’d really love a MG in this vein! Group of misfit kids with skills, banning together to stop the world from being destroyed — all with an adorable robot friend in tow! #mswl

I’m in the mood for a good heist story. YA or MG. Bonus points if it’s an all women crew. #MSWL

I’d love a YA/MG that explores living with OCD, specifically dermatillomania (what I suffer from) or trichotillomania. Often times when people think of OCD, they tend to think of people who clean obsessively or fixate on numbers. There’s also the kind that hurts physically #MSWL

I know this is specific but I’d love a contemporary MG or YA where the MC has to wear a back brace bc they have scoliosis, kyphosis, or scoliokyphosis, and has to deal with all the complications it inflicts on socializing and fitting in. This was me growing up. #MSWL
