On the older side for nonfiction, I'd love nonfiction that was more than just what we currently have. I just read ATTACHED (so good) and I am thinking, wow if only I had read this as a kid. Where is the hip #YA NF that makes it cool to know about marketing, psychology, etc #MSWL

But I also want narrative nonfiction that isn't just biographies. I want to learn things about the world. Chemistry is cool! Also biology *while cool* can be gross and cool. #MSWL #PB

For picture books, I tend to lean towards a more commercial edge. And humor, with a heart of gold is 100% where my heart lies. #MSWL

I want an atmospheric read. Something that takes me away from...this. And my house and makes the setting almost its own character.

Misty shores, or foggy woods. Give me a lyrical sense of place in a great story. #MSWL

As any good fantasy nerd, I love fantasy. In MG and YA, but I am picky nowadays. So it has to feel different. But give me high concept stories. Give me beautiful writing. Give me morally complex characters. #MSWL

I really want graphic novels. Like I am on a huge graphic novel kick right now, and I just want some lovely graphic novels to work on.

Escapism is what I read for here. And some of my favorite books have been LILY THE THIEF, LUMBERJANES, BEETLE AND THE HOLLOW BONES #MSWL
