A quick #MSWL of genres I'm keen to see. Cozy fantasy, Romantasy in YA and Adult, and Mystery from marginalized authors.

But I will reopen to select YA genres as well. So it will be Adult SFF, Horror, and Mystery (not true crime). YA horror, thriller, and romance. No YA fantasy or science fiction or contemporary.

I've replied to all queries and requested material. I should have my newest client on submission soon. So it's almost time to reopen to queries.

I'm leaning toward mainly reopening to Adult projects again this time. I have a lot of children's projects right now.

But, as always, I'm very open to finding something I feel strongly about. Often what I end up extending an offer on is outside of what I was expecting. Which means no #MSWL will ever be a perfect representation of all that I want.

I'm open to Graphic Novels for all age groups.

I'm open again to science fiction and horror, though still being extra picky there. I like my horror to have social commentary.

I'm open to all genres of YA and MG. Lately I've been drawn to YA Romance. I really need some MG Humor/Adventure for my list.

I'm hoping for cozy mystery set outside the US and/or diverse. I am open to all Adult Mystery now, but I prefer locked door, cozy, or more traditional mystery over crime stories.

As I'm opening to queries tomorrow, here's a short #MSWL on some specifics I hope to see.

I've been excited to read Romantasy (not spicy) and Cozy fantasy lately. I'm still interested in epic fantasy and any 2nd world fantasy.
