I have just realized that one of my absolute favorite things in middle grade is suspicious, secret architecture in weird old houses. Secret passage? Yes, please. Hidden staircase? Thank you, ma’am. Mysterious hallway to nothing? I’ll take two. So, you know, #MSWL for that.

On that note, #MSWL for a sincere but funny middle grade novel about kids facing real world stakes who are also just unapologetically little weirdoes.

Very actively looking for fiction by #actuallyautistic authors with autistic protagonists, especially in middle grade, especially contemporary fiction. #MSWL

My #MSWL includes, among other things: MG/YA fiction & adult fic/NF by authors who are: trans and/or non-binary or otherwise not cis, disabled and/or #actuallyautistic, and/or Indigenous. Including any intersections thereof, & whether or not the work focuses on identity.

Remembered another #MSWL: #ownvoices MG/YA/adult w/ disabled MCs, including novels where disability isn't the focus, esp intersectional.
