It has been such a long week and all I want right now is some really soft, humorous contemporary YA with diverse characters that has the same beats as as narrative or visual novel games.
Bonus points if it's set in a coffee shop or a bookstore or a board game cafe. #MSWL

Did a little desk spring cleaning and updated my #MSWL yesterday. I can't wait to see what lovely projects find their my to my inbox!

Always always on the hunt for diverse, creative contemporary YA that can capture the humor, heart, and playfulness of anime. 💖
Bonus if the story involves friends sharing their passions (geeky or not) or has some delicious food. #mswl

As much as I love getting YA & MG submissions in my inbox, I'd also love to see more adult nonfiction come my way! I'm always looking for illustrated nonfiction projects, light-hearted narrative projects with a sense of humor & pop culture, pop science & humor submissions. #mswl

Is there a YA rom-com out there where the protagonist leaves behind hidden letters for the love interest to find? Possibly hidden among some books? If not, I'd love to see it!
This #mswl brought to you by Romance Is A Bonus Book (Thanks for the recommendation @kurestinarmada)!

A League of Their Own + LGBTQA + esport competitions = a fun, spunky contemporary YA that I would really like to read. #MSWL

It's that time of year when I'm really in the mood for cozy mysteries. I'd be really excited to see a contemporary YA or upper MG that has diverse characters, a playful, intriguing hook, and isn't dark or super serious--like Goldie Vance / Scooby Doo / Hallmark level drama. #MSWL

Just saw @rivercitygirls while browsing for new games and now I want a spunky, over-the-top contemporary YA about two friends (or rivals) who need to work together to save their SOs that doesn't take itself too seriously, plus humor and MCs that pack a punch.

I'd really love for some quirky, geeky nonfiction in the vein of "Of Dice and Men" or "The Lady from the Black Lagoon" but about video games, manga (CLAMP anyone?), or that explores pop culture through the lense of an influencial creator or medium or unique perspective. #MSWL

On a whim I decided to watch this movie on Netflix called Ramen Shop and it's an amazing story about culture, family, love, and (of course) food.
Now I'd like a YA or MG story that explores the bonds of family and culture (especially a blended one) through food! #mswl

Is anyone else into the show Let's Eat because I'd really love a #ownvoices #DV, contemporary #YA book with the same kind of style about a MC who just lives for food. Also if it could include some mouth-watering descriptions I would appreciate it. Cool thanks! #mswl

I don't know about the rest of you, but I love CLAMP and I would really love to read a playful, informative non-fiction book that looks at the history of the group and the amazing work that they have done since the early '80s.
Just saying. #MSWL

Looking for some manga/anime to enjoy over the holiday in the vein of Ouran High School Host Club, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, or Love is Hard for Otaku!Any recommendations?
Honestly, I'd love to see some YA that has the playfulness & emotional conflicts of these kinds of rom coms with diverse protagonists, too. #mswl

Someone should really write a Susan Orlean-styled book about the beginning of cosplay or the first comic con or something else equally geeky and send it to me!!

Queer books can be light and funny and still be important. Queer books don't have to focus on queer pain to matter.Yes. I'd love to see more of these stories! (#MSWL)
