It's that time of year when I'm really in the mood for cozy mysteries. I'd be really excited to see a contemporary YA or upper MG that has diverse characters, a playful, intriguing hook, and isn't dark or super serious--like Goldie Vance / Scooby Doo / Hallmark level drama. #MSWL

On a whim I decided to watch this movie on Netflix called Ramen Shop and it's an amazing story about culture, family, love, and (of course) food.
Now I'd like a YA or MG story that explores the bonds of family and culture (especially a blended one) through food! #mswl

Little late to #MSWL today, but I'd love for some agents to send some illustrated, quirky, pop culture adult nonfiction or some lighthearted, contemporary MG & YA with some strong nerd culture flavor! (I've been itching for some cosplay/comic con/food competition stories.)

I'd love to see a contemporary MG or YA cooking competition like Iron Chef or even something with a little more quirk like Food Wars. #mswl

My kid is tired of middle grade & YA books with thinly-veiled lessons & teachable moments. They feel condescending to her. She wants a good story with interesting, complex characters. She wants authors to give kids more credit; they can handle more nuance & subtlety.100% adding this to my #MSWL. Please give me more stories like these.
