Dark fantasy, gothic fantasy, horror-fantasy blends, and stories with subversive religious themes. Think SERPENT & DOVE, WICKED SAINTS, and THE YEAR OF THE WITCHING. #MSWL

Historical novels both fantasy and realistic—especially overlooked or underrepresented stories in history (though I'm pickier when it comes to 20th century history). Examples of what I'm looking for: DREAD NATION and BLOOD COUNTESS! #MSWL

In celebrating my one year workiversary at Page Street, I'm going to update my #MSWL! Stay tuned for some specific things I'm on the hunt for, but remember, this list is buy no means exhaustive. More than anything I love being surprised by a book, so when in doubt—query! The NUMBER ONE item on my #MSWL is a diverse magic girl squad book. Think Sailor Moon but with an intersectional cast. If you send this to me now, I will read it tomorrow.

106 years since the Titanic sank. As a kid I was OBSESSED with the Titanic. Checked out every book my library had on it at least 3x, and I wanted to be an oceanographer so I could study it.
Well, that didn't happen, but does anyone out there have a Titanic YA novel for me? #MSWL
