YA/MG fantasy where the magic is essential to the story. Can be beautiful, arcane, messy, inconvenient, whatever, but feels integral. #MSWL

MG featuring girls who are happy and fat at the same time, and losing weight is NEVER the goal. #MSWL

In both fantasy and SF, I'm a sucker for books about revolutions and characters facing only bad choices. #MSWL

In SF, I love anything set in space. Esp. big-idea SF (think A FIRE UPON THE DEEP), but also spaceship adventure books. #MSWL
