It looks like there are a bunch of trans kidlit writers coming out with books in the next couple years, which is great, but...I'm not sure if there are any trans women? Which is the opposite of acceptable. My client list is super queer but I am definitely on the lookout for stories by trans women, both in fiction and non-fiction! We need these stories. I represent all ages, but primarily focus on childrens, picture books through YA! #mswl

I am really hungry for some non-fiction middle grade and YA in my queries and for the right topic (pop culture, feminism, theater/music/dance), I’m open to adult non-fiction projects. For ex: I’m an avid fan of @EggcellentPod, @WestWingWeekly, @GilmoreGuysShow, and #Cheer. #mswl

#MSWL: #ownvoices #MG or #YA protagonists with chronic illness, pain, and/or a disability in a story not focused on that, and where no one dies--it's just a part of life. This kind of rep is important to me & I rarely see it in subs or published books. If you have this, send it to me and I will send it to Molly! This is a really important kind of representation for me. I'm open to both fiction and non-fiction! #mswl #invisibleillness

If you have middle grade or YA project that feels like #OneDayAtATime with all of that amazing diverse representation, please send it my way. I’ll need to fill the hole created by its cancellation. #mswl

It's pride month! I'm gonna re-up my publishing ask for more upper middle-grade / younger YA books that feature kids (esp kids of color) who identify as being on the ltbtqia+ spectrum, THANKS.This is eternally on my #MSWL. I really want diverse lgbtqia+ middle grade on my client list, especially stories for those queer girl-identifying tweens.

Seeing several writers talking about their fear that their queer girl books won’t sell and how that’s stopping them. Please write these stories, find agents, etc. who will champion them. I certainly want to see them and I know SO MANY other editors who do as well. Please 💕🙏🏾I've been standing on this soapbox for years. Send me your queer girl stories. Especially middle grade. Make me cry like the first time I saw FUN HOME and heard "Ring of Keys." These stories deserve to be heard! #MSWL
