If you have a YA project that has a break up scene that could be scored with @TheRocketSummer’s
“Goodbye Waves and Driveways”, send it to me. Man, I love that song. I like to travel back to 2005 now and then in my music. It was my jam then and now. #mswl youtu.be/JCOC8Wb8jiA

I'm not normally a "foodie" reader but I would read the crap out of an enemies to lovers romance about rival restaurant owners, one who serves CaliMex (THE BEST) and one who serves TexMex. As long as CaliMex wins, obviously #MSWL twitter.com/ElleKeck/statu…OMG. I LOVE this idea. I edited @elisalorello's PASTA WARS a few years back and adored working on a foodie book. As a Top Chef-fanatic and homesick Texan, I fully support this idea. But the TexMex chef wins. 😉 #MSWL

I had this thought yesterday: LEGALLY BLONDE but Emmett is Emma. #queeritup #MSWL

#MSWL: #ownvoices #MG or #YA protagonists with chronic illness, pain, and/or a disability in a story not focused on that, and where no one dies--it's just a part of life. This kind of rep is important to me & I rarely see it in subs or published books. If you have this, send it to me and I will send it to Molly! This is a really important kind of representation for me. I'm open to both fiction and non-fiction! #mswl #invisibleillness

Mornings with a slight breeze always instantly take me back to early summer mornings on the marching field with the band. I’m still desperate for a marching band YA. This Texas band geek and former drum major misses the field. #MSWL

If you have middle grade or YA project that feels like #OneDayAtATime with all of that amazing diverse representation, please send it my way. I’ll need to fill the hole created by its cancellation. #mswl

YES to BILLY ELLIOT. That last shot of Billy's leap onto the stage made 12 year old me gasp after I'd already been sobbing since his goodbye to Michael. "Oy! Dancing boy!" I did the stage show a year ago and always cried watching that scene from the wings. twitter.com/sabaatahir/sta…Just a reminder if you have a YA BILLY ELLIOT, it is still at the top of my #MSWL!

Free YA romcom concept: Two teens come to NYC to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (but with their own private quests), meet, march, help each other navigate the city/solve the quests, fall in love, drink hot chocolate

I saw #ASimpleFavor last night knowing very little about it. I highly recommend going in like that. If you have seen it, I now want a YA with the same level of tension and comedy. Thriller comedies, please! #MSWL

I tweet out #MSWL thoughts pretty regularly so you can always search those. That said, my list is pretty full of contemporary YA right now. I'd love a great YA thriller or horror novel to add to my list!

Thor Stenhaug @ThorStenhaug
My 13-year-old brother has been cast in his school production of Mamma Mia. It’s him and 16 girls. He’s playing all three dads. I’m dead. This is hilarious. Will he switch back and forth between characters Jekyll & Hyde-style? Switch hats?
Also, this is totally the kind of story I’d add to my #mswl. I’m super picky about theater stories these days, but I love this idea.

I've been saying it for years, but I desperately want a YA novel about a male ballet dancer. OR a memoir by a male ballet dancer about his experiences growing up in ballet. Give me the YA Billy Elliot I've been dreaming of! #MSWL youtube.com/watch?v=IhwPMb…

My query inbox is longing for MG and YA narrative non-fiction. Exploring history from a new angle? Finding fun ways to discuss STEM topics? Please send them my way! I want more non-ficton! #MSWL

It's pride month! I'm gonna re-up my publishing ask for more upper middle-grade / younger YA books that feature kids (esp kids of color) who identify as being on the ltbtqia+ spectrum, THANKS.This is eternally on my #MSWL. I really want diverse lgbtqia+ middle grade on my client list, especially stories for those queer girl-identifying tweens.

I dug through hundreds of obituaries & spoke to gay ballplayers from the 1940s up through the 1990s to find the queer history of women in baseball that we stand to lose if it isn't documented. narrative.ly/the-hidden-que…This piece on the queer women of baseball is brilliant and worth a read to start off #Pride. Also, if anyone's writing a queer take of A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN, please send it my way! I'd love to find a F/F historical YA sports project. #MSWL

I'm still on the hunt for a middle grade that just makes me sob and fills my heart with FEELINGS with maybe a touch of magical realism? #MSWL

Everyone is looking for non-fiction across all ages PB-YA. I would love to find some great MG and YA narrative non-fiction or memoir. Untold stories and POVs throughout history or STEM! #MSWL

I would love to find a teen pregnancy YA project in fiction or NF. I went to a HS with a daycare for student babies and teen pregnancy was a reality for students at my school. I want to see those stories. #MSWL
