Adult Fiction: Family and friendship stories involving big secrets and twists on the verge of being unearthed. #MSWL

NF: Practical mysticism and astrology projects that offer new takes on everyday experiences (think lifestyle books). #MSWL

Adult Fiction: Fun, creepy, and commercial stories that can comp Hocus Pocus where the mechanic of the witchcraft does not become the focus of the plot. #MSWL

Fiction: Thrillers and suspense comping anything by Andrea Bartz. #MSWL

NF: Pop culture nostaglia. Projects that take pop culture and apply it to a new form. For example, ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK RUM?🍸#MSWL

NF: Craft/Hobby & Lifestyle. Projects that can teach readers how to affordably alter their lifestyle for the better. I'm particularly interested in homesteading, foraging, and other sustainability projects. #MSWL

NF: Fresh and modern takes on relationship/dating projects. The key for me here is to approach the work with a lens that does not treat the cis-het relationship as the default/baseline/or norm. #MSWL

NF: Renter-friendly design or design projects for improving your day-to-day well-being and mental health on a budget.

Going to put a bit of a wild #MSWL out here. If anyone's working on an adult novel that can comp Scream AND something super millennial like The Herd or A Special Place for Women, I want to see it. My query box is open (query@psliterary.com) for some suspense/thriller/horror.

Also going to add that Hocus Pocus will always be #MSWL inspo. Make it middle grade or adult fiction and I NEED to see it.

Also going to add that this brand of YA nonfiction is an absolute #mswl for me. The business angle, the creativity, the list vibes, etc.

#MSWL Fandom books and other illustrated, geeky/pop culture non-fiction for YA and MG (maybe even PB?) readers.

#MSWL Middle grade takes on video games (fiction and non-fiction) that go beyond the "fell into the game" trope.

#MSWL Queer rom coms that represent not just the L and the G in LGBTQQIP2SAA.

#MSWL I'd love to see a MG or YA spin doctor. Think the energy of #ShirleyandJamilaSaveTheirSummer meets the Good Wife's Eli Gold.
