I want YA that vibes with these two YA projects. There was a effervescent feeling to the writing here. #MSWL

I want a YA that feels different from what we are seeing right now. Mix Genres, play with tropes, be inventive in your structure #MSWL

Also if someone can figure out how to give me a cozy mystery as a YA, I want it. #MSWL

Also might be controversial, I want post high school (summer before college, or the first "year" of college) type stories. But since not every kid goes to college, I want to see how the come of age by leaving childhood behind.
Looking for YA themes though, not "baby adult" #MSWL

I want TED LASSO vibes, and Rian Johnson's KNIVES OUT vibes, and VERONICA MARS voicey #MSWL #YA

I want:
-ace romance
-mermaids that never go in the water
-Ren Faires
-magic worlds that are different from what we have been seeing.

-Dark Whimsy/Cozy Magic
-Twisty murders (LOVE Rian Johnson and if you can comp to the vibes there, even better)
-EPIC Romances (romantasy and romcoms and straight romances)

But if we are going contemporary, I need to elevate it. Kit Frick is a forever comp, but if your book comps to TRULY DEVIOUS or FEMAL OF THE SPECIES, I would be here for it. #MSWL #YA

I am in the reading mood for fantasy right now. I want writing like Margaret Owen with the snap crackle and pop of Sarah J. Maas's characters #MSWL #YA
