writing for young readers is incredibly hard. i can't imagine a talent more awe-inspiring than the ability to tell stories with imagination and restraint and warmth and grace to children whose lives you have the power to change forever. #mswl

What I mean by hard-SF: your worldbuilding is based on an extrapolation from modern technology or scientific knowledge. This would include botany/biology/materials science, too! #mswl
