all I want to say about this is that cinnamon rolls who fall in love with cynics and the cynics are like "what is happening, stop liking me" and the cinnamon rolls are like "yayyyyyy I like you" are the best#MSWL, for real. I love this sort of relationship dynamic.

Domestic suspense & psych thrillers. Very competitive out there so I’m not looking for something that is overcomplicated & trying to out-do what’s on the market. I’m looking for excellent, simple (which is so much harder!), haunting/spooky/creepy writing. @carlywatters #MSWL

Proof that writer’s block is nothing new ~ this Pompeiian woman with gold-threaded hair engages us as she muses over her wax tablet. She’d soon have plenty to write about, so let’s hope she survived (Pompeii, 55-79AD, unearthed 1760, National Archaeological Museum of Naples) pic.twitter.com/VDPHBXMRXR

1/3 What do we need more of in children’s literature? - Books that better reflect society, books with varied family structures, books with quiet heroes, books that challenge gender stereotypes and toxic masculinity, and more creative, UK-grown children’s nonfiction! #GEAvemberCouldn't agree more with @RashmiWriting's thread. In these scary times these are the stories I'm looking for and what I hope children's publishing will become. We need to tell stories for every child... #MSWL

I may have just spent the last 20 minutes gushing about the good ol’ marching band days with @_smromero. Send me those hilarious and fun band stories so I can send them to her!! #mswl 🎷🥁🎺
