One thing I'd like to see more of is non-fiction from writers with a really strong platform #mswl

Throughout all categories, I'm loving diversity and social justice #mswl

I also enjoy fantasy if it's fun and original, either grounded, or with amazing world building and something to say about the world. I get a lot of submissions loaded with familiar tropes, so originality will stand out. #mswl

For YA, absolutely. For middle-grade or tween, it would have to really fit the age group and have much more going on in the plot beyond the romantic element, if that makes sense #mswl

It's worth noting that while I'm really looking for rom-coms, and I enjoy romantic elements in fiction and in YA, I'm not the right fit for category romances #mswl

Also looking for fresh and funny YA novels #mswl

I'm also open to fresh and original graphic novels. For these, I'm looking for an author/illustrator work, or an author/illustrator team. #mswl

I'm open to elements of horror if they are psychological, suspenseful and/or humorous. But I'm definitely not one to read anything gory or slasher-ish. #mswl

Also always looking for smart and funny rom-coms. One that can become the next clever chick flick #mswl

Some things I'm especially on the hunt for: Voicey romantasy. If it's inventive and full of humor, I'm interested. I'm looking for more grounded romantasy set in this world. Bonus points for cozy elements! #mswl
