#MSWL Would really love to see a thriller where the person being pursued is just as ruthless as the pursuant. A real "oh you messed with the wrong woman." Has been trained in combat, is a recreational fighter, HOME ALONE style traps—give me all of it. In both YA and adult.

#MSWL update! I'm now accepting thrillers in adult fiction (as well as in YA, which has always been the case). I am NOT looking for anything law-enforcement focused, including FBI/CIA. I am looking for the story to contribute to a larger sociopolitical conversation.

YA: the MC needs to have a strange interest that teaches me something new. I don't do super heavy (sexual assault, addiction, abuse, suicide), and I like to laugh. Not a good fit for sad w/o humor. Quirky voice gets me every time. I love female friendship/empowerment and spooks.

My actual ultimate #MSWL is a YA fictionalized story of Amanda Nunes and Nina Ansaroff—two female world class MMA fighters who meet and fall in love and become the sport’s #couplegoals.

I know mythology tends to skew MG, but I’d LOVE to see more global mythology and folklore—especially in genres outside of action/adventure. I know y’all have some spooky folklore ripe for horror. And rom coms with minor deities? Guided journies through loss? Yes. All of it. #MSWL

There’s no one right way to go through the stages of grief, and if we spent more time normalizing, say, taking a year and a half to get through anger (🙋🏻‍♀️), we’d feel less like people “fucked us up” and more like we’re having a universally human experience. So, yeah, #YA #MSWL.

#MSWL: I want a #YA about a girl gamer. What’s it mean to prove your place there? SF element a lá READY PLAYER ONE is cool too (but not necessary).

#MSWL would love a YA about the gymnastics world that contains this level of reader-friendly information and explanation.

Is it too much for my #YA #MSWL to just consist of spooky but funny retellings of the Headless Horseman ?

ULTIMATE #MSWL please someone give me an #ownvoices #Hmong #YA novel about immigration and the #SecretWar. We need this story, especially for teens. No more hidden history.
