Hey, so, if anyone has any sports romances they wanted to send my way, specifically hockey or football, I uh, I would not be mad 馃憖 #MSWL

That's it! I'm sure I forgot something along the way, but it's an idea. Most things I won't rule out completely, so feel free to query me even if you're not sure it's a good fit. You never know.
With that, back I go to my inbox! Hope to see more of your lovely projects there!鉂わ笍

For MG in general, I don't tend to be the right person for animal protagonists, I don't typically enjoy dragon stories, and I'm not looking for European-inspired fantasy settings.

On the contemporary side, I like MG narratives that have a lot of heart and deal with meaningful topics (think FROM THE DESK OF ZOE WASHINGTON and FRONT DESK). I also love MG stories that deal with all the stomach-swooping and awkwardness of that first crush.

On the fantasy side, I still tend toward contemporary fantasy -- especially because of the potential for goofy MG shenanigans -- however I'm more open to higher fantasy in MG.
Some of my faves: AMARI AND THE NIGHT BROTHERS; GHOST SQUAD.

MG
I tend toward upper MG, and love fantasy and contemporary narratives, but voice is the most important element for me in this age category. I want funny/quirky/snarky MG voices, something really strong that hooks you in immediately.

While I love a good contemporary fantasy (whether lighter/funnier or darker/creepier) I am not usually the right person for YA high fantasy. You can still query me with your high fantasy stories, but it's likely it won't be for me as my interests are so limited here.

I do love spookier/horror elements. Give me your ghosts, shadows, unexplainable phenomenon. Think THE WHISPERING DARK or WILDER GIRLS vibes.
I'm not against monster-hunter/vampire-slayer type stories, but I often tend not to be right for them.

I am pretty picky with my YA spec fic interests, and it's sort of an "I'll know it when I see it" situation. That being said, I tend toward contemporary fantasy, horror, and/or relatively grounded narratives that feature some kind of speculative twist (i.e.: CEMETERY BOYS).

I also really enjoy a powerful, character-driven YA contemporary. I love friendship stories, niche skills/competitions, and deep emotions.
I do not tend to be the right person for stories that center eating disorders, however.

YA
I love YA romcoms; give me all the tropes! I'm always looking for a hooky, unique premise with characters I can really root for. Some of my faves: TATBILB; A CUBAN GIRL'S GUIDE TO TEA AND TOMORROW; HAPPILY EVER AFTERS.

Some of my faves: BOYFRIEND MATERIAL; YOU HAD ME AT HOLA; WEATHER GIRL; THE BODYGUARD; BOOK LOVERS.
I don't tend to be the right person for hist roms, high fantasy romance, or romantic suspense where the LI is a police officer/detective.

Adult
Romance, romance, romance! I adore swoony romances, chaotic protagonists, and conversational and/or laugh-out-loud voice. I also love if there's a sprinkling of spec fic (a la THE DEAD ROMANTICS).
I'm always here for a good, bonkers romcom as well, the wackier the better.

Here it is! The #MSWL thread!
The broadest strokes are that I'm looking for Adult romance; YA romcoms, contemporary, and the odd spec fic; and MG contemporary and fantasy. Specifics below.
