I finished Stranger Things 3 and the most important takeaway—the thing that brought me the most joy—was the children loving, trusting, and working with each other. A close second? The adults listening to and trusting the children. #MSWL

NGL I'd LOVE a YA about a student finding out their parents did this to get them into an elite school and now the student has to reckon publicly and personally with their privilege, whiteness, and wealth + how these contributed to their own ignorance of their parents' plot. #MSWL

A picture book or a literary novel about "Boston marriages." (Notably, Katharine Lee Bates--who wrote America the Beautiful--and Katharine Coman, or Amelia Van Buren and Eva Watson-Schutze.) #MSWL

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of reading/discovering EXTRA YARN by @macbarnett, illustrated by @burstofbeaden. I would love to see a another picture book like that--generous, warm, and service-driven. #MSWL

I'm very much a fan of characters who make the wrong decisions and fuck up and are flawed. I would ALSO like to see stories about people who do all the "right" things, but stuff falls apart anyway because it's impossible to control the world! That's real too. #MSWL

A domestic/Mommy thriller, but about a play group with parent/s who don't vaccinate their children. #MSWL
