Pitbulls are perfect.Come to think of it, if someone wants to write me an ode-to-pitbulls picture book called "Pitbulls Are Perfect," wherein (for example) a child explains to the viewer why pitties are, in fact, perfect...Well I'd be mighty happy to see that in my inbox from your agent. #mswl

#MSWL Two teens fall in love over the phone. One is addicted to [insert dish] & is so terrified the restaurant will close during the pandemic, they order it every night. The other works for their mother鈥檚 restaurant, taking orders & such. Soon their hearts are READY FOR PICK-UP!

american history books have forgotten her, but susan ahn cuddy was the first female gunnery officer of any ethnicity in the u.s. navy. she joined the navy in 1942 and served until 1946, reaching the rank of lieutenant. she really deserves to be remembered. pic.twitter.com/C475lDaxB7Ahem! #MSWL: Picture book biography of Susan Ahn Cuddy. It's the holiday season, so I'll put a #MSWL out into the world: I'd love to have a new #DearGenius out in the market BUT written by one of our great editors of color. A memoir, a how-to, a narrative guide to succeeding in this business from a POV beyond the white center. (1/2)Every year I give my assistant and/or interns a copy of Dear Genius. Instead, it would be awesome to give them a classic, informed tome to help guide them through this business in ways that I never will be able to personally.

There's *so* much history we can take advantage of for YA. Victims of colonization going after the British Empire??? Like, subvert the colonial English genre! Imagine The Little Princess or The Jungle Book but instead of quaint British stories, they're tales of anger & revenge!!
