if you gave me a Dark and Edgy YA contemporary about a group of friends solving mysteries with their dog and their van i’m not not going to enjoy it #mswl

i’m still digging my way out from under a pile of submissions (sorry agents!!!) but there’s always room on my #MSWL for:
- unapologetically self-indulgent, diverse #YA
- YA historical fiction, mystery, & fantasy
- YA contemporary, either dark & spine-tingly or warm & lighthearted

on a slightly related note, i would give my horse, my house, my whole heart for a YA novel about bandits #mswl

now that we’re in the swing of new year celebrations it’s just occurred to me that i would ❤️ to acquire a picture book, mg, or ya about lion dancing/lion dancers #mswl

i just started playing detention & it's a truly chilling game
not the least because the white terror extended forty years and killed nearly 4000 people

i definitely want to read a nuanced, well-researched YA set during taiwanese martial law someday #MSWL
