Oh man, a YA along the lines of W or Goblin would be AMAZING. #MSWL twitter.com/sarahrmccabe/s…A YA historical fantasy would also be fantastic. Faith (aka The Good Doctor) is still one of my favorite kdramas. Secret Healer (aka Mirror of the Witch) is another that I love. Plus, I've been fascinated by the cdrama Tientsin Mystic. So much fun. #MSWL

So here's a new picture. I don't put my kids' pictures on the public internet, but with my daughter's approval -- this is part of her "burning anger" -- here she is, adding her slogan, #keepourcountrycolorful, to one of which she approves, not far south of the border. pic.twitter.com/aQLniu1USF#MSWL When I eventually reopen to queries, I want to see all the middle grade manuscripts about girls burning with anger at injustice in the world and how they’re fighting back, especially by and about POC and other marginalized groups.

Supernatural romance where a modern woman falls in love with the ghost of an old timey nobleman but then she becomes aware of all the anachronisms in his stories of his life (potatoes pre-contact and the like) and eventually he admits he's just a guy who died at a costume party.Literary Agent

1211 CE: 20-year-old girl stands down Genghis Khan, prevents a genocide, teaches herself to read, hires a staff of women, and prototypes a working system of government for the entire Mongol Empire. Her name's Alakhai Beki and she was RAD. rejectedprincesses.com/princesses/ala… pic.twitter.com/jTxRN1gkLFI so want a YA like this. #MSWL Also, is it possible to somehow resurrect her and get her to fix the world?

If I was an agent I think something that would be on the #mswl would be a Pirates of the Caribbean style YA except it's pirates from colonized lands going after the British Empire (@ericsmithrocks plz find this book and rep it thank you) pic.twitter.com/ge9r0SeIUAAhem. #MSWL

I’ve pondered it but can’t quite visualize the full scope of the differences. I’d love to see how writers envision it. #MSWL

One of the most chilling abandoned places in the world is France's Red Zone, or "Zone Rouge".Over 100 years ago, the First World War so devastated the landscape here that people are still forbidden to enter, & the zone has become a ghostly & overgrown place. pic.twitter.com/fPDL4URKmV
Incredible thread on how nature has been reclaiming stretches of land in France that have been uninhabitable since WWI.
Now for an #MSWL: A post-apocalyptic story set in a place like this could be amazing. There's something eerily beautiful yet sinister in those photos. MG/YA

I could write a thousand young adult novels and still never come up with a protagonist as cool as this 16-year-old horse thief, two-time jail escapee, and self-taught violinist from 1922. pic.twitter.com/L9LU3SOn0B#MSWL
Also, that last paragraph is amazing. More news should be reported like that nowadays. It's the little details, y'know?

These might be the only kind of vampire stories I’d be interested in reading: based on non-European tradition/folklore and not of the Dracula or Twilight variety. Tales of creatures (part human or not) that prey on human blood have existed for centuries across the globe. #MSWL twitter.com/isabel9thlp/st…Please note, however, that I’m not a fan of the “average, boring teen girl falls in love with a supernatural creature who makes her special” paranormal romance trope that was so prevalent. #MSWL

Co-worker got his lunch stolen and they’ve agreed to let him watch the security camera tape. This is the most excited I’ve ever been at any job ever. Ever.A middle grade novel adaptation of this story would be amazing. I mean, that suspense. . . #mswl
