Right now, I would really love to see a story set in the real world with a richly drawn background that is unfamiliar to me and I'm also an absolute sucker for a beautiful main character/animal relationship. Really strong, complex female friendships appeal to me too! #MSWL

So moved by #IDanielBlake on BBC2 last night. I'd love to hear Daisy's voice in children's fiction. What's life like for a 12 yr old when your mum can't make the rent? When you have to move 100s of miles to be housed? When your Mum has an apple while you're having your tea #MSWL
