Had a wonderful convo w/an editor yesterday and we bonded over feeling like we have to clarify that wanting romance in horror does NOT mean we are wanting to get dark romances in our inbox

(to each their own, im just looking more specifically for chill romantic subplots that break up the overarching horror rather than the romance BEING the horror #mswl )

I need a horror movie that has the cartoonishly colorful and absurd vibes of The Cat in the Hat (2003). NO CAT! Just same humor, similar setting/acting choices, but gorier somehow? R rated of course 😱

But also if someone can somehow write this idea as an adult horror novel then consider this an ultra specific #mswl tweet lol
