I would LOVE a middle grade non-fiction book that explores the idea of patient zero and looks at different endemics and how medical researchers traced them back to that particular disease's patient zero.

#mswl nf for mg or ya - his life, his work during ww2, an honest look at his death and the repercussions of anti-homosexuality laws, and how Turing's work still influences compsci today.

#mswl - books that emphasize the bridge between science and the arts; I went through a phase years ago where I read a lot of books on the history of math; NF pbs that are written using a super engaging hook or concept

#mswl - amazing stories about what human, animal or plant bodies can do (e.g. more like on a cellular/biology level, not biographies); NF books about scientific discoveries made by LGBTQIA+, BIPOC or neurodiverse people; a how-to book for teens about divestment and eco-activism;

#mswl - I would love to see a trade NF book exploring antarctica and climate change. (This idea is not fully formed, so bear with me...) So like, why protecting antarctica is important, who "owns" antarctica, what is actually physically present (animals, research stations, etc)..

Interesting! I would love a #MG or #YA NF book on how small changes like this can make a big difference! #MSWL

I would totally be interested in a nonfiction book on animal spies - be it in the natural world or in history. #mswl #pb #mg

I'm also opening to chapter book fiction and non-fiction for the trade market this year (though having to be very selective about it!) #mswl

I'd be interested to see a YA nonfiction guide to money that acknowledges the gig economy, high cost of secondary education, lack of pensions, etc. How can today's teens/late millennials prepare for a much different financial reality than previous generations? #mswl

In YA nonfiction, I'd be interested to see some guides to activism (including eco and political activism) written for teens from somebody with a solid platform. #mswl

This year, I'd love to see more trade non-fiction for children and teens that goes beyond a traditional biography! Show me science, history, cultural movements, our planet, etc. in ways I haven't seen before! (bonus points if it's a graphic novel!) #NonFiction #pb #mg #ya #mswl
