Would love an MG w/something zany and fun, like @curiosityjones debut MG featuring Chickens w/super powers! #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · 1w

Would love a YA focused almost entirely around a teen's crappy job a la Empire Records, Adventureland, etc #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · 1w

Would LOVE a YA horror in the vein of SCREAM and @naturallysteph 's THERE'S SOMEONE INSIDE YOUR HOUSE #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · 1w

Would LOVE more submissions of MG / YA / Romance #ownvoices novels with non-white characters! #WeNeedDiverseBooks #MSWL

So my school broke up an alleged underground slime selling ring. Students were selling homemade slime out the bathroom. It gets better.

Well now I just want an MG about two entrepreneurial girls in a Slime-selling turf war. #mswl https://t.co/BIt0VceJPj

Guys, come on: My tweet hopefully did not indicate that "incest" is on my #mswl . IT IS NOT. #querytip https://t.co/PLqn5lhkAN

@byobrooks I actually would sign an incest YA, I loved FORBIDDEN. #mswl

#MSWL : YA in which teen discovers dad/brother/bf is a white nationalist planning a rally, so must confront him + joins counter-protest.

I love Survival stories, so if anyone writes an extreme version of the Fyre festival I want to see it! (YA or MG) #mswl

@MandyHubbard Do you prefer to work with a certain genre? Thanks for your time.

@eisen5585 Anything in YA is fine. You can read my sub guidelines or #MSWL for extra insight.

Writers watching #MSWL : When in doubt, just query. That's you saying "hey, interested in my book?" No need to @ agents w/clarifying Qs.

Every time I do #MSWL and say something like "I'd love a YA thriller" and get "What if there's a ghost in it?" or similar. Just query!

YA that is unapologetically commercial. Big hooks, fast plot, etc. #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · Mar 10 2016

MG Or YA-- survival stories. Lost at sea, snowed in, etc. Think real world, not apocalyptic. #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · Mar 10 2016

Would love a YA dealing with spiraling depression. Maybe a destructive relationship as a catalyst. #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · Mar 10 2016

For Contemporary Romance: both blue collar, rugged guys, and billionaire alpha heroes. Think high heat, not sweet. #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · Mar 10 2016

how about a YA that NAILS crushing on someone from afar who doesn't know you exist? That invisible, yearning thing of our teen years? #MSWL

Mandy Hubbard @MandyHubbard · Mar 10 2016

In MG, I enjoy tween girl stories-- fun and breezy with a great voice. #MSWL
