THE□HYBRID™ @_stevewillsSoulmate friendships are indeed very real
THIS IS WHY I WANT MORE FRIENDSHIP STORIES. #MSWL
[kie.ran] @danblackroydFriend breakups (I mean good, longterm, very close and intimate friendships) are, in my experience, much more emotionally devastating than romantic breakups. And yet, unlike romantic relationships, we have almost no socialization (even in media images) on how to navigate them.
THIS IS WHY I AM ALWAYS ASKING FOR FRIENDSHIP BREAKUP STORIES. #MSWL
sappho panic 💖💜💙 @leneeh4unpopular opinion but slow burn friendships are just as valid as slow burn romance. like, gimme the reluctant characters who are like "i don't need anyone" but ends up with a best friend they never asked for but would die for in a heartbeat. that becomes the grumpy aunt/uncle
Katie Zhao 💛 aka The Draggin’ Warrior @ktzhaoauthorSomeone write me a YA friendship breakup story. All these books prepped me to deal w romantic breakups that never happened to me anyway (lmao) and yet I’m at a total loss on how to heal from heartbreaking friendship breakups?? .____.
GIVE ME ALL THE ADULT AND YA FRIENDSHIP BREAKUP BOOKS!!!!
I WILL CONTINUE TO RETWEET ALL THE TWEETS ABOUT FRIENDSHIP BREAKUP BOOKS UNTIL I GET ONE.
Hannah Allaman @hallaman13SEND ME YOUR FRIENDSHIP BREAKUP BOOKS. Middle school, high school, even (dare I say) early college! In my own life, friendship breakups have always been so much more significant/traumatic than the romantic ones. Would love to see it in my inbox! #MSWL pic.twitter.com/wTHruL3Dm7
I will forever want this. Someone finally give it to me. #MSWL
Jen “eeeeek” Edwards @Jene_e_edwardsbeen thinking about how the worst heartbreak i’ve ever suffered was from a friendship breakup, and how that is so rarely explored in YA. i didn’t know how to cope because i didn’t know anyone who had gone through something that intense. we need to fix this.
I can't tell you how much I say I want to acquire books about friendships, especially how to deal with either growing up and apart or having an incident that breaks the friendship apart. #MSWL
Molli Moran @MissMolliWritesYou know what’s I wish we had more YA books about? Toxic friendship breakups. How to grieve healthily and move on. Teens and young adults. need to know; otherwise, they aren’t prepared.
Give me this! #MSWL
Silvia Moreno-Garcia @silviamgReminder that not all work by POC must be weighty, dramatic books. White authors got to write thousands of fluffy books and cash the checks. We shouldn't be appreciated only when it gets dark and horrible.
I SAY THIS TO EVERY PERSON WHO ASKS ME WHAT I'M LOOKING TO ACQUIRE.
SEND ME AN THE LIGHT AND FLUFFY POC BOOKS, ESPECIALLY FRIENDSHIP BOOKS, SIBLING BOOKS, AND BOOKS WHERE ALL THE HIJINKS HAPPEN. #MSWL twitter.com/silviamg/statu…
