But if an editor retweets your pitch, keep a list. When you have an agent, give your agent that list and tell them that these editors were interested. It helps your agent tailor who they'll sub to. #askDVpit

Hello #askDVpit! If your MS is cross-genre (e.g. paranormal romance, but with a bigger focus on relationship and less on danger), would it be better to say it's cross-genre or just pick one?I would still say it's paranormal romance or romantic suspense...it's not necessarily cross-genre, more sub-genre.
