Writers always want to know what gets requested vs. rejected. Your MS/ proposal has to stand out and must fit my list. I received over 800 queries last year at Bradford (and joined in late Sep.) and my request rate is below 10%. Don’t query unless you are truly ready. #querytip

Edit out the telling (the explained motivation, "to steady it") & show action instead:
