Generally, middle grade books should be more than 40k words long. YA books should be more than 50k. Over 100k, you should question it. #MSWL

#MSWL time: One big gap on our list is our lack of any books about Muslim main characters (MG or YA).

What I'd really love to see (#MSWL): YA from African American authors that looks at that reading list and finds contemporary inspiration.
