Here’s my #MSWL in a nutshell: moods, meltdowns, mischief, magic, murder. I want big complex conflicting emotions and radically joyful adventures. I want lovable tricksters and goofy wizards and characters who eat each other. I want to CACKLE.

This is the kid I’m acquiring for. (Me, I’m the kid.) This kid is inquisitive & curious but HATES adults teaching her, and is utterly uninterested in becoming a better person. This kid is giggly and gets into trouble and can often be found lost in her imagination. #MSWL

I acquire books that require art to tell the story. Board books, picture books, graphic novels, heavily HEAVILY illustrated chapter books. #MSWL
