Always voice driven, often funny, sometimes heartbreaking... Characters are key for me! I can fix a plot. 🤓 I am not great with genre fiction, though there are exceptions if the writing is irresistible to me.

I'm getting a lot of submissions in two categories lately, so maybe it's worth saying on here: I'm not looking to acquire more novels in verse at this moment, and my picture book list is quite limited. Right now, my #mswl is skewed toward mg and YA.

One thing I was thinking about this weekend while watching "Only Murders in the Building" is that I'd like more MG set in apartment buildings. It's just a way to force disparate people to interact. Genre doesn't mater. "Attack the Block" is another fun example. #mswl.

I don't typically tweet such specific #mswl ideas, but I'm looking for books on environmental impact, especially older nf about sustainable architecture and innovations in materials used for everyday stuff (food storage, toys, textiles, etc.)!
