#MSWL Horror! I'm still loving horror of all flavors, but I’d love to see more high concept horror that turns tropes on their head to stand out amongst the crowd

Happy #MSWL Day! 🎉 Here are a couple specifics I’d love to see:

-Adult horror based on intriguing historical events (e.g. The Donner Party in Alma Katsu’s THE HUNGER)
-High concept adult fiction with a speculative thread for the book club space
-Fantasy in spooky settings
