I have a long-standing #mswl for RMS TItanic retellings. I was obsessed with it growing up: I listened to A Night to Remember at least 100 times, read the book more than once, played the computer game (yes, there's computer game!), etc. So, send me your Titanic-inspired ms!

Maybe you have an epistolary space book?
Oh man, a novel a la THE OLD EQUATIONS by Jake Kerr would be bomb.

I'd love to see some non-Western space opera or military science fiction. NINEFOX GAMBIT is a great example. #mswl

#mswl I'd also really love a fantasy similar to Tanya Huff's FIFTH QUARTER. Assassins, magic, forbidden romance, and conflicting loyalties, oh my!

#mswl I'd love to see a wildfire story. I'm equal opportunity on the setting -- campers/hikers? Surburanites? I want to see survival and moving on. Also, I'm from CA, so wildfires affecting urban settings is something I'm used to seeing (alas).

#mswl I'd love to see some social horror stories like "Nose Dive" (Black Mirror, S3E1) or GET OUT.

I see a lot of female healers in fantasy, especially in the "I didn't know I had powers, what do??" trope. I'd love to see something like that but with male healers. #mswl

#mswl An assassin like The Operative from Serenity meets the political intrigue of the Foreigner series or Imperial Radch series.

I'd love to see awkward robot stories like Murderbot Diaries. #MSWL

#MSWL Fiction inspired by the gold rush & the Donner Party. I want some tense historical fiction about wagon trains in deserts & mountains.
