#VampiresVsTheBronx is exactly the creative gentrification story I've been wanting T_T A middle grade GN #mswl of mine for the last 2/3 years has been a contemporary story following a POC character dealing with gentrification in the NYC neighborhood they grew up in.

-middle grade story about a kid and their deep relationship with dancing
-middle grade or YA story about a kid juggling two environments, “code switching”, and seeing their beloved neighborhood changing because of gentrification
