I think this depends so much on the book, the genre, and the sub-genre. in some genres a series is expected (cozy mysteries), others are more trilogy oriented (YA). I don't think any agent will say no just because it's a series #askagent

Always follow the submission guidelines. Plus it's important to remember that emails with files can often get stuck in spam. If they want all that info in the email body, go for it. #askagent

Sure! It's important to remember that, as a series, book 2 & 3 are entirely dependent on book 1. If book 1 doesn't sell, book 2 & 3 don't have a market. Blurbs & synopses help you plan out a series, without investing too much time. #askagent
