I would love to see a book proposal for a non-fiction book about the history and politics of the concept of “nice.” #mswl
I am a huge, huge fan of historical fantasy, especially from unexpected places and times (like @kateheartfield's Armed in Her Fashion). I don't represent historical fiction with no fantastic elements. #MSWL
I say this every #mswl, but I never get enough hard sf. I especially like hard sf based on the unexpected sciences, like @SueBurkeSpain's Semiosis series, based on her study of botany.
Happy #mswl day! I would like some genuinely fun history (not historical fiction!) for the general reader. I love "history of an idea" books.
Sorry guys, despite working at DMLA, I don't represent mysteries. #MSWL
I enjoy clean, transparent prose in the fiction I represent. I'm less of a fan of the heavily literary (though there are always exceptions!) #mswl
Just a reminder: I'm a huge fan of historical fantasy, especially if you've got a setting I haven't seen before. #MSWL

Someday there’s going to be a great history book about the toxic effect of pro-wrestling style rhetoric on political discourse. twitter.com/kevinmkruse/st…And if you’ve already written is great book on wrestling and politics, #mswl?

Dorcas Reilly, inventor of the green bean casserole, a Thanksgiving favorite, has died at 92 washingtonpost.com/nation/2018/10…Why did I tweet this? Because sometimes technological advances aren't where we think. #MSWL
In general, I’m the wrong agent for stories that are driven primarily by action scenes. This is because I have the visual imagination of a turnip. Dialogue-driven? Send it on. #mswl
I have a weird bias against stories in which the hero is a gladiator who has to fight his way to the grand prize in the arena. I loved Thor: Ragnarok, but I think this plot generally works better as a movie than a book. #mswl
I'd really love a rip-roaring history of book publishing, for example. #mswl
This #mswl is for non-fiction-- I love business history. I'd like some fun business history for a popular audience. #twitterstorians, where are you?
By the way, I want to represent more history for a popular audience (hint, hint) #MSWL
Sorry, I don't take on clients on the basis of a novella! #mswl
I don't represent historical fiction-- sorry! #mswl
I finally updated my #MSWL page: manuscriptwishlist.com/mswl-post/jenn…. Now you all can find me!
