Not trying to be nitpicky, but please submit the requested excerpt w/ your work....#querytip for ELM it's 1st 10 pages in the body of email.

"Dear Ms. Stender, Correcting your probable fear my novel was..." Don't assume what I fear, but address me correctly. PASS. #querytip

The longer I am in this business, the more I believe a writer needs to spend almost as much time on the query as on the book. #querytip

When querying, make sure your word count is within the genre, more or less. You don't want to be off by 20K words. #querytip
