My left arm for historical fiction about Abigail Adams and this letter she wrote to John: "I desire you would remember the ladies... Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the husbands. Remember, all men would be tyrants if they could." #MSWL
Very specific #MSWL request: narrative nonfiction about Mabel Hampton (1902-1989). Feminist. Civil rights activist. Gay rights activist. Dancer. Participant in the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s.
#MSWL: A book about grief, but not the kind that comes after death. Grief after a friendship ends. After losing a part of yourself. Over a loved one being gone mentally but not physically. All those other forms of grief that are not spoken of as much but still deeply felt.
Reminder! I am only open to agented fiction submissions, unless you are a BIPOC writer. Details in the submission section of my #MSWL. I am open to all adult nonfiction submissions—agented or not.
