Hey writers thinking about tweeting at an agent who passed on your work, because you believe (for some reason) that they deserve to be...publicly shamed?...for...not liking your work? I’m not telling you how to live your life or anything, but have you considered...not doing thatYou’re hilarious! Good #querytip

Samantha is excited for 2020!!! @SamanthaGassman
#amquerying writers: please don’t harass agents... ever. But especially on Twitter. twitter.com/mcorvisiero/st…Lol yes... a public post has a lot ramifications and most aren’t good. Harassment is never okay. Professionalism is in large part respecting people’s time, privacy, and feelings. #querytip #WritingCommnunity

Y’all, I’ll be working and responding to more queries today in an attempt to catch up. If you don’t want to know the fate of your query today, don’t open your email. Apologizing in advance. Again.Same here. I know it's the new year, but agents took off a lot of time to ensure we didn't send rejections on Xmas or other holidays. New year and we've got to jump back on the work train #amagenting #querytip #amquerying

#querytip #amquerying Don't purposely point out your shortfalls in your author bio. You are more than qualified to write your story with or without a "writing" degree.

#amwriting #querytip I'm seeing a trend of manuscripts way outside the acceptable word counts. Low and High. Learn your genre. This is a good guide. litrejections.com/word-count/

Good advice for writers this time of year! I’ve received several offer notifications w short turnarounds. It’s one thing if you know you’re going to go w the original offer, then just withdraw the project, but if you want an agent to seriously consider, consider their time too. twitter.com/jldallow/statu…Exactly what @evascalzo and @jldallow said #Querytip #writing

I do wish I could be open to all the genres I enjoy all the time, but there are times when either my list is full in a genre at the moment, or I'm just not feeling excited about reading those stories at the moment. Either way, if you query me while open to it, I can get excited. But when I am open to YA Sci Fi and I see a YA Sci Fi, and then I see in the query history you tried to query me under 3 other genres while I wasn't open to YA sci fi, it's not the best start to our relationship. A good 1st impression goes a long way in this industry! #querytip
