An author needs to feel like *I* am the right match for them as much as I do. When I lose one, it does hurt (VERY much so!), but I'm glad they are confident in the direction they've chosen. I want the best for them+book, even if that best is not me. #askagent #querystats

Of the full manuscripts I currently have two are contemporary mystery/suspense, one is women's fiction, one is memoir, one is a cozy mystery, and one is contemporary YA. Of the two I requested today one is psychological suspense and one is literary fiction. #querystats

I have roughly 700 queries and six full manuscripts to read (not counting the two full manuscripts I requested today that haven't come in yet). #querystats
