Actively looking for creepy, dreadful suspense to ring in the autumn season #mswl

Suspense:

I’ve been getting a lot of satirical horror/thriller (which I LOVE don’t get me wrong), but I’m also looking for really dark/gritty suspense, someone please scare the daylights outta me #MSWL

I love suspense, especially with a dose of weird (BUNNY by Mona Awad is a fav). Dark stories are my go-to (I started reading King at age 9…)

I really want to see thrillers/suspense novels where death is NOT the driving force #mswl
