#PubTip = include reviews/ blurbs by librarians and teachers on your author website (particularly if you write children's books)

#PubTip = set up a PO Box for fan mail + list the PO Box on your author website. :)

#PubTip = If you choose to use comparable titles in your query ("My book is like XYZ") make sure you use recent books.

Do you have extra author copies of your book(s)? Consider donating to a hospital waiting room (especially picture books). #pubtip

#PubTip = remember to direct fans to local libraries where print books/ebooks are available to them for free (and authors still make money!)

#QueryTip = cut back on backstory in those queries! Cut back on backstory in opening pages of the manuscript too. #pubtip

Editing? Make sure your first 30 pages have internal conflict AND external conflict (common mistake in contemporary romance & YA). #pubtip
