Bonus 2: QUILTBAG YA (which I love), but I don't get a real sense of conflict from the query. Pass. #tenqueries
Bonus 1: Ugh. Written in 2nd again. Para romance, and it's 2x longer than it should be. Pass #tenqueries
Q10: UF with silly spellings that don't achieve anything. Premise isn't bad, but not interesting or quriky enough for me. Pass. #tenqueries
Q9: kick-ass log line. F with really interesting way for the MC to explore her identity. Request partial #tenqueries
Q8: high F, a LOT going on and query doesn't take the time to orient the reader. Pass. #tenqueries
Q7: very well written, and author has a wonderful platform, but the project is has hints of colonialism and racism. Pass. #tenqueries
Q6: Good concept and well-written, but it's a straight YA romance, which I'm not really looking for atm. Pass. #tenqueries
Q5: Begins with a questions, which I hate. Entire thing in second person. Says it's SF but seems contemporary. Pass. #tenqueries
Q4: MG, not formatted correctly, and a wee bit didactic (teaching about friendship). Pass #tenqueries
Q3: Cont YA with a really unlikable MC from the looks of it. Pass. #tenqueries
Q2: NF (which I don't rep). Pass. #tenqueries
Q1: adult F. Well-written query but not enough detail to make it stand out. Pass.
