If you were supposed to meet with an agent and it's been canceled because of <all this> and you think all is lost and you'll never get an agent now, well, you're wrong. Here's why: katemckean.substack.com/p/meeting-agen…

I'm an outliner, not a pantser. But my outlines are basically the answers to four questions that create the foundation and plot of my story. You can read those four questions here: katemckean.substack.com/p/how-to-learn…

This is what I think when I get emails from writers that say "I have an offer from a small press. Do you want to be my agent?"

Also, if you are a repeat offender of sending undeniably bad, aggressive, and insulting queries, I set a filter for your name/email and you're automatically sent to the trash. Sorry not sorry. #pubtip

Under no circumstances should you GROUP DM agents to query your work. #pubtip #amquerying

I really, really, really don't want a publishing start up that disrupts query letters.
